Happy Halloween

The moon is round as a jack '0 lantern;
The trees blow black and bare,
And we go creeping with spooky giggles
Through the chill ghostly air.
Whose shadow is that on the haunted ground?
Who's behind that tree?
Oh, down runs my bad black kitten,
And the shadow was only me.

    Hey, that's kind of cute! We spent Halloween night just inside Alabama, across the border from Georgia, returning from North Carolina; so we didn't have to worry about trick-or-treaters. But I love to have the little people come to the door all dressed up. We just don't like it when the big kids come, and when they come from several neighborhoods away, and you don't even know who they are.
